Senior Design Engineer

• Design and develop 3D models of mechanical components, assemblies, and complete systems using 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS.
• Create and modify complex 3D CAD designs based on engineering requirements and specifications.
• Develop detailed part models, assemblies, and design layouts for engineering systems.
• Perform design iterations and incorporate engineering changes and customer requirements into existing models.
• Ensure designs meet functional, dimensional, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Perform basic design validation and interference/fit checks on 3D assemblies.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Review designs for accuracy, manufacturability, assembly, and performance.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs for complex mechanical systems.
• Maintain proper CAD models, drawings, revisions, and engineering documentation.
• Support troubleshooting and modification of existing designs based on production or field requirements.
• Follow company standards, engineering procedures, and CAD modelling best practices.
• Mentor junior design engineers and support the team in developing efficient and standardized design solutions.
• Continuously improve design methods and make effective use of 3DEXPERIENCE/SOLIDWORKS tools.Role & responsibilities
