Senior Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and develop 3D models of heavy machinery using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) for manufacturing purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet ASME standards and customer requirements.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for welding processes used in heavy engineering projects.
• Conduct quality control checks on designed components to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Job Requirements :

• 3-11 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial equipment/machinery industry.
• Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of ASME codes and regulations related to heavy machinery design.
• Experience with drafting tools such as CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks).
