About this role
Continuous Improvement
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, MSA, and FMEA techniques.
- Lead cost reduction and quality improvement projects across the supplier base.
- Drive supplier quality KPIs and periodic review meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 8-12 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance within Automotive/Auto Component Manufacturing.
- Experience in handling domestic and international suppliers preferred.
Technical Skills
- APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC
- IATF 16949, ISO 9001
- Supplier Audits Supplier Development
- 8D Problem Solving, 5 Why Analysis
- Root Cause Analysis Corrective Actions
- Quality Tools and Core Tools
- SAP/ERP Systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, molding, casting, electronics assembly, or PCB manufacturing.
