Senior Database Administrator

Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with 7–10 years of experience to join our dynamic Data Management team. Responsibilities include:

• Creating, monitoring and maintaining databases - MySQL, Postgres etc.
• Automating routine Database Administration, monitoring and alerting activities using shell scripting, Python etc.
• Providing DB design solutions and hands-on expertise using SQL and DB tools.
• Providing solutions for Data Security, Governance and compliance Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure optimal health, integrity, performance, and security of all databases.
• Develop and maintain data categorization and security standards.
• Evaluate and recommend database technologies and management tools.
• Support IT groups, partners, and customers.
• Participate in change/problem management and root cause analysis.
• Support application testing and production operations.
• Manage backup and recovery procedures.
• Serve as On-Call DBA on rotation.
• Develop, implement and maintain MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse instances.
• Work with infrastructure, network, application, and BI teams.
• Perform database patches, updates and upgrades.
• Database performance tuning and SQL query tuning.
• Knowledge of Cron or schedulers like Apache Airflow.
• Implement and administer Data Pipelines. Required Skills

• Modern backup technologies Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. • Experience managing enterprise databases. • Telecom data systems/network analytics exposure prefered
