Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Data Scientist or

Senior GenAI Developer to join our India team (Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai or remote/hybrid). You will lead high-impact AI initiatives – either in

classical ML, demand forecasting, optimization, and price elasticity OR in

Generative AI (RAG, LLMs, Agentic workflows) . Both tracks require strong cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Classical ML / Forecasting / Pricing Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of

demand forecasting models (time series: ARIMA, Prophet, TFT; ML: XGBoost, LightGBM).

• Design and deploy

price elasticity models and

dynamic pricing optimization (econometric methods, causal inference, bandits).

• Build

inventory/revenue optimization engines using linear programming, heuristics, or reinforcement learning.

• Own end-to-end model lifecycle: feature engineering, backtesting, deployment, monitoring, retraining.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–8 years in Data Science / ML.
• Deep expertise in

forecasting ,

price elasticity , and

optimization .

• Proficient in

Python ,

SQL ; experience with

scikit-learn ,

PyTorch/TensorFlow ,

statsmodels ,

Prophet , or

OR-Tools .

• Strong cloud deployment experience:

AWS SageMaker ,

Azure ML , or

GCP Vertex AI (model serving, CI/CD, monitoring).

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Stats/OR/Economics; Master’s or PhD preferred.

GenAI / RAG / LLM / Agentic Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy

RAG pipelines for enterprise knowledge retrieval (vector DBs: Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate; embeddings).

• Design

autonomous agentic systems using frameworks like

LangGraph ,

CrewAI , or

AutoGen (multi-agent orchestration, tool use, memory).

• Fine-tune

LLMs (OpenAI, Llama, Mistral) for domain-specific tasks; implement

prompt engineering and

evaluation (RAGAS, DeepEval).

• Deploy GenAI solutions on

cloud platforms with latency/cost optimization (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI).

Must-Have Skills (Track 2):

• 5–8 years in AI/ML development, with at least 2+ years focusing on

Generative AI and

agents .

• Strong experience in

RAG ,

LLM orchestration , and

agentic workflows .

• Proficient in

Python ,

LangChain/LangGraph , vector databases, and LLM APIs.

• Cloud deployment expertise:

AWS Bedrock/SageMaker ,

Azure AI Foundry , or

GCP Vertex AI with MLOps/LLMOps practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/AI; Master’s or PhD preferred.

Common Requirements

• 5–8 years of total relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying models/agents to

production on cloud (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines preferred).

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical design reviews.
• Excellent communication skills (English); ability to work across India-based and global teams.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in

pricing/revenue management for e-commerce, retail, travel, or fintech (India context).

• Published research or contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
• Experience with

MLflow ,

Kubeflow ,

Langfuse , or

Weights & Biases .

• Prior experience in a

startup or fast-paced product environment .
