Job Summary

Senior Data Integration Engineer Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Coimbatore (Hybrid) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Integration Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Cloud Integration, API Management (APIM), Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions across enterprise applications using Azure integration services and platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, and ServiceNow Integration Hub. The candidate will be responsible for building seamless integrations between cloud and enterprise systems, ensuring efficient data exchange, system interoperability, and high-performance integration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise integration solutions using Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
• Build and maintain cloud-based integration workflows connecting multiple applications, services, and data sources.
• Develop, publish, secure, and manage APIs using Azure API Management.
• Implement event-driven and message-based integration patterns using Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, and subscriptions.
• Design automated workflows and orchestrations using Azure Logic Apps.
• Integrate Azure services with enterprise platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, and ServiceNow Integration Hub.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms across integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, resolve performance issues, and ensure the reliability of end-to-end data flows.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Follow integration best practices related to security, governance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.

Skills

• Azure API Management (APIM): API development, publishing, security policies, versioning, and lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, cloud integration, or middleware technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure integration services, particularly APIM, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
• Experience integrating cloud applications, enterprise systems, and third-party platforms.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and web service integration patterns.
• Understanding of API security, authentication mechanisms, message processing, and error handling.
• Experience with integration monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience implementing hybrid integration solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, managed identities, and API security best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployment of integration solutions.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging.
• Exposure to Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and integration observability practices.
