Role: Senior Data Engineer

Experience: 8 to 10 years Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (5 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable Snowflake-based data solutions.
• Perform data modeling and GAP analysis between existing warehouse models and business needs.
• Design and develop Snowflake schemas, databases, stages, and data pipelines.
• Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, or orchestration tools.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Snowflake.
• Implement and manage Snowpipe and automated data ingestion frameworks.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage and data quality checks.
• Integrate and combine data from multiple sources (APIs, files, databases) for unified analytics.
• Perform performance tuning of Snowflake warehouses, queries, and storage.
• Lead and mentor junior data engineers, ensuring delivery quality and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align data solutions with business goals.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8

+ years of experience in Snowflake/Data Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with

Snowflake (Data Warehousing, Snowpipe, Performance Optimization) .

• Proficiency in

SQL (advanced query tuning, stored procedures).

• Experience in

Python for data engineering tasks.

• Strong understanding of

data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts .

• Hands-on experience in

data modeling and schema design .

• Experience building

ELT/ETL pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.

• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience guiding or mentoring developers or small teams.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to

data observability and automated data quality frameworks .

• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g.,

Airflow ).

• Familiarity with ETL tools (ADF, SSIS, Talend, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (

Azure, AWS, or GCP ) is desirable.

• Experience with API-based data integrations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
