Senior Data Engineer

Job Post - Senior Data Engineer Experience :- 5+ years Location - Ahmedabad (Hybrid Model) Timing :- 6:30 or 7:30 P.M. (8 working hours a day) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in the Life Sciences domain and hands-on experience working with Real-World Data (RWD). The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, modern data engineering practices, and scalable data pipelines. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• Process and transform Real-World Data (RWD) for Life Sciences and Healthcare analytics.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop data models and data warehouse solutions for analytical reporting.
• Optimize data processing performance and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement performance improvements.
• Follow best practices for data governance, security, and documentation. Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong experience in the Life Sciences domain.
• Hands-on experience with Real-World Data (RWD).
• Expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, or both.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Delta Lake.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data governance and healthcare data standards.
• Experience working with global teams and Agile methodologies. Preferred Candidate Profile
• Proven experience delivering enterprise data engineering solutions in the Life Sciences or Healthcare domain.
• Strong understanding of Real-World Data (RWD) processing and analytics.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
