Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks Platform Engineering, including platform setup, configuration, and data migration from AWS-based environments to the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and AI/BI.

Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Bangalore (Mandatory)
Primary Skill: Databricks (Mandatory)
Communication Skills: Good

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure, and manage the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Support migration from AWS EMR, dbt, Amazon Redshift, and Parquet on S3 to Databricks.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Implement platform engineering best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
• Support the transition from Tableau to Databricks AI/BI.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Minimum 6+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Databricks experience (Mandatory).
• Expertise in Databricks platform setup and Platform Engineering.
• Experience with AWS EMR, dbt, Amazon Redshift, S3, and Parquet.
• Experience in data migration and Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bangalore location is mandatory.

Good to Have Skills:

• PySpark, Apache Spark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Unity Catalog, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Tableau and Databricks AI/BI experience.
