We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Pune. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and integration solutions to support our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering with specific expertise in IICS - IDMC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data integration processes.
• Optimize data processing jobs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to data availability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, data models, and integration solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for data engineering and development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure and data governance frameworks.
• Mentor junior data engineers and share knowledge within the team.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing data integration solutions using IICS - IDMC.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
