Senior Data Engineer

Position Name:- Sr.Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with agile project teams and business stakeholders to deliver efficient and scalable OLAP data solutions.
• Design and build data persistence and transport solutions using modern data technologies.
• Develop, schedule, monitor, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Build reliable data-processing solutions and automation using Python.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement best-in-class cloud and managed solutions.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to validate system behavior, optimize query performance, identify problems, and support business users.
• Support and guide architectural standards and best practices.
• Manage priorities and assigned tasks with minimal oversight.
• Mentor new and junior team members.
• Communicate effectively with team members and all project stakeholders.
• Generate and review design documents based on project requirements and final technical solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6 to 8 + years of professional experience developing OLAP platforms and data models.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for data engineering, automation, and data processing.
• Hands-on experience designing, orchestrating, and monitoring workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Deep understanding of managed services such as Soda, Snowflake, dbt, etc.
• Good exposure of relational and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) database technologies.
• Experience developing scalable data access using APIs and Kafka producers/consumers.
• Understanding of data management and architecture best practices.
• Experience working within an agile project team and managing multiple workloads.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of AI, and the curiosity to explore it, in order to simplify and automate workflows.
