Responsibilities - Technical leadership: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms and architectures.
- Lead the development of batch and real-time data processing solutions using modern cloud and big data technologies.
- Define data engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Drive architectural decisions for data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and streaming platforms.
- Review and optimize complex data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Lead platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders, architects, product teams, data scientists, and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical consultation and recommend data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Present architecture solutions, roadmaps, and technical recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT frameworks for processing large-scale datasets.
- Develop data integration solutions across multiple internal and external systems.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, observability, security, and compliance requirements are met.
- Implement data modeling strategies for analytical and operational use cases.
- Drive automation and operational excellence through CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
