Senior Data Engineer

Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and database development.

The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of stored procedures, functions, database objects, performance optimization, and database administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases and data solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, queries, and other database objects.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and improve query and database performance.
• Support SQL Server database administration activities and ensure reliability and availability of database systems.
• Work with data engineering processes and pipelines supporting business and application requirements.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and design appropriate data solutions.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, performance, and reliability.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, SQL Development, or Database Administration.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong experience with stored procedures, functions, queries, and other database objects.
• Strong understanding of relational database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server database administration.

Preferred / Additional Skills:

• Experience working with healthcare data or healthcare technology projects.
• Experience building or supporting Generative AI-based products.
• Exposure to data preprocessing, vector databases, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Experience with Python and modern data engineering tools would be an advantage.
