Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Spark SQL, Azure SQL, and data engineering pipelines.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• 8+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Good knowledge of PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Strong SQL skills, including Azure SQL.
• Experience building data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Oracle, REST APIs, and ADLS.
• Understanding of Lakehouse architecture, Delta tables, and data modeling concepts, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, including datasets, semantic models, and integration with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Git and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of data quality, performance tuning, and security.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with streaming / near real-time data pipelines.
• Experience handling semi-structured data, JSON, and APIs.
