Senior Data Engineer Data Vault
Remote / Hyderabad Hybrid
Permanent preferable / 8 hours Fulltime Contract
Must have
- SQL & Oracle performance tuning: Expert-level SQL and strong hands-on Oracle performance tuning (reading explain plans, indexing, partitioning, statistics, set-based/bulk processing).
- ODI 12c issue triaging: Proven ability to triage and fix ODI 12c problems quickly: Operator, session logs, scenarios, agents, generated code.
- ODI 12c advanced & navigation: Very strong, fluent ODI navigation and advanced concepts — knowledge modules, load plans, variables, scenarios, reusable mappings, topology.
- Batch execution: Hands-on experience running data loads via batch-control tables (batch IDs, dependencies, restart/recovery), as we use in our Data Vault executions.
- Snowflake: Hands-on Snowflake experience (SQL, loading, warehouse/query basics).
- Data Vault aptitude: Either solid Data Vault 2.0 knowledge, or a demonstrated ability to learn complex modeling concepts fast and apply them in a demanding ODI environment.
- Mindset: Self-driven, independent problem-solver comfortable owning a complex system with limited hand-holding.
Good to have
- Working knowledge of Kafka (streaming/CDC into the warehouse).
- Prior exposure to a Data Vault implementation in production.
- Experience with CDC, data replication, or GoldenGate-style pipelines.
