Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Azure Databricks to lead and manage data-driven projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Azure Databricks and its applications in data analytics and engineering. You will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery while adhering to best practices in project management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for data analytics projects utilizing Azure Databricks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with data engineers, data scientists, and other team members to ensure alignment and successful execution of project tasks.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Implement best practices in project management and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate project status and gather feedback.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and promote knowledge sharing among team members.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, including data processing, analytics, and machine learning capabilities.
• Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Experience in managing data engineering and data science teams.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Azure Databricks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data analytics and Azure Databricks.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
