About this role
- Professional Experience: Candidates should possess around 15+ years of extensive experience in Martech/MarketingOps [Unica, SFMC, AEP/AJO/Adobe tool stack]. All other aspects of the data consultant JD are still valid except the below added scope and seniority level.
- Core Mindset and Strategic Capabilities
- Strategic Approach: Must operate with a senior advisory mindset rather than focusing solely on tactical execution.
- Value-Driven Solutions: Capable of bringing strong, solid data-side foundations to solve complex client problems and drive accountability.
- Solutioning/Innovation/BD: Capable of building reusable IP, innovative solutions, POVs and participate in RFI/RFPs and other BD activities [as required]
- Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Lead strategic client engagement across B2B/B2C business in MarketingOps and act as a senior SME in steering client roadmaps, discovery, solutions, QBRs.
- SME/Thought Leadership: Provide the required SME support to the wider DataOps team in campaign build/execution in Adobe AEP/AJO and act as a poc for all critical client conversations for data consulting role.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with system teams to ensure smooth integration between data orchestration and channel execution (e.g., messaging and configuration).
- Journey Simplification & AI: Lead journey simplification initiatives and effectively showcase how data and AI integrate into overall business KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Audience Segmentation & Ecosystem: Drive data clarity, audience segmentation, and ecosystem leveraging to maximize the business value for clients.
- Efficiency and Cost Alignment: Support organizational goals such as achieving operational efficiency and contributing to overall cost/headcount reduction targets (e.g., 20% to 30% reduction).
