Job Statement The Data Analyst – We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior analysts to transform raw data into actionable business insights. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding data professional to gain hands-on experience with real-world datasets, automation workflows, and enterprise reporting tools.

Job roles & responsibilities

• Data Cleaning & Sourcing: Assist in extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various internal systems and ERPs for analysis.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Support the maintenance and optimization of existing performance and create new dashboards and automated reporting tools.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct data exploration to help answer specific business questions and support data-driven decision-making.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, query logic, and standard operating procedures for reports.
• Project documentation: Scope to deliverable.

Key Skills/Competencies: Technical Competencies · Technical Foundations: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables), Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Statistics & Python. · Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with data visualization concepts (experience with Power BI) · Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies with a high level of attention to detail.

Sales & Business Competencies · Understanding of business needs, customer needs & user needs · Ability to support financial analysis - pricing analysis and cost calculations

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and proven expertise in Data Analytics.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Statistics for data interpretation and decision support.
• Candidates should possess experience in Data Modeling for reporting, forecasting, and optimization.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for explaining complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and at least one BI or data visualization platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
• Experience with programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) and handling large datasets is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead data analysis role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or technology-driven environments, is highly beneficial.
