Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong technical business analysis, product documentation, and stakeholder management expertise to bridge business requirements and technical execution across our web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience translating complex business needs into BRDs, PRDs, API specifications, and actionable technical requirements, while collaborating with engineering, product, clinical, and operations teams.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical understanding, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive requirements from discovery through successful product delivery.

Someone who combines the analytical mindset of a Business Analyst, technical understanding of APIs and system workflows, and product thinking of a Technical Product Manager. They should be comfortable working closely with engineers, independently owning documentation, and converting ambiguous requirements into clear, implementable specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Business and Technical Requirements: Collaborate with engineering, product, clinical, operations, and client stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate functional and technical requirements into clear deliverables.
• BRD and PRD Documentation: Own the creation and maintenance of detailed Business Requirements Documents, Product Requirements Documents, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• API and Technical Documentation: Document API endpoints, request/response structures, integrations, data flows, and system interactions in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Web and Mobile Applications: Manage requirements and release documentation for iOS, Android, and web applications, covering member-facing and administrative workflows.
• Data Analysis and Product Insights: Analyse product usage data, customer feedback, and engagement metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support product decisions.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment on business objectives, technical feasibility, and delivery expectations.
• Project Coordination: Track requirements, documentation deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and releases across multiple workstreams.
• Process Improvement: Standardise documentation templates, improve requirement clarity, and reduce ambiguity between business and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Technical Business Analysis, Product Analysis, or Technical Product Management.
• BRD / PRD: Strong hands-on expertise in creating BRDs, PRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• API and Integrations: Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, request/response structures, system integrations, and data exchange.
• Technical Understanding: Solid knowledge of SDLC, client-server architecture, system workflows, and data flow diagrams.
• Web and Mobile Products: At least 2 years working on consumer-facing web and native mobile applications (iOS / Android).
• Business and Product Analysis: Ability to translate complex business problems, user feedback, and product usage data into actionable requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong experience collaborating with engineering, product, business teams, and external clients.
• Documentation Tools: Experience with Jira, Confluence, Swagger, Postman, Markdown, or equivalent tools.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, requirement prioritisation, and release management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in HealthTech, InsurTech, employee benefits, or B2B2C products.
• Exposure to healthcare workflows such as teleconsultation, diagnostics, care coordination, or customer engagement.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, or CleverTap.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, Excel, and interpreting user engagement metrics.
• Understanding of how to balance enterprise customer requirements with end-user experience.
