Role: Senior Data Analyst – Collibra | 1 Year Contract, Full-Time Conversion Possible
Location: Mumbai
Work Model
- First 3 months: 5 days WFO
- After 3 months: 3 days WFO + 2 days WFH
- 2 weekly offs
Experience: 8–12 Years Role Overview We are looking for an experienced
Senior Data Analyst – Collibra to join a global banking technology team supporting enterprise-wide Data Governance initiatives. The role focuses on developing and maintaining Collibra-based data governance solutions, metadata management, workflow automation, and integrations while collaborating with global teams in a highly regulated banking environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data governance solutions using Collibra.
- Configure and customize the Collibra platform, including asset types, relationships, domains, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain Java/Groovy-based workflows and automation.
- Manage Collibra EDGE installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Build and manage integrations using Collibra APIs and enterprise API gateways.
- Support metadata ingestion from enterprise data sources and automate onboarding processes.
- Manage user roles, permissions, licenses, and access control within Collibra.
- Analyze Collibra platform releases, perform regression testing, and coordinate release deployments.
- Collaborate with business, governance, and technology teams to improve data quality and governance practices.
- Follow Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with banking, regulatory, and enterprise governance standards. Must-Have Requirements
- 8+ years of IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra.
- Strong expertise in Collibra metamodel, asset types, relationships, and platform customization.
- Experience with Collibra EDGE integration and metadata ingestion.
- Hands-on experience developing workflows using Java or Groovy.
- Strong SQL and database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Experience in data modelling, data analysis, and complex SQL querying.
- Good understanding of Data Governance concepts and Collibra security model.
- Experience working in Agile/SDLC environments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Good to Have
- Banking or Financial Services experience.
- Experience with cloud data platforms.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Experience with data pipelines and metadata automation.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools. Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working with global teams in a multicultural environment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor team members. Additional Notes
