Senior Data Analyst - COE

Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for analysing business and operational data, developing dashboards and reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role involves working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, preparing and analysing data from multiple sources, and developing reliable reporting and analytical solutions.
The role also includes exposure to data automation, cloud-based data platforms, and hands-on technical environments used to support analytics workflows.
Key Responsibilities
 

• Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, performance gaps, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using tools such as Power BI and Grafana.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful analytical solutions.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyse data.
• Use Python for data analysis, automation, and repetitive reporting activities.
• Work with data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, Salesforce, Jira, spreadsheets, and operational systems.
• Prepare and maintain analytics-ready datasets for reporting and business analysis.
• Perform data quality checks and investigate data inconsistencies or reporting discrepancies.
• Automate recurring reporting and data-processing activities to improve efficiency.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery for analytical and reporting workloads.
• Perform basic data pipeline monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Work hands-on with Linux-based Virtual Machines when required for running scripts, scheduled jobs, data workflows, and analytics processes.
• Support data migrations, historical data processing, and integration of data from legacy and new systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to resolve data-related issues and deliver analytical solutions.
• Communicate insights and findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Exposure to data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience working with Linux environments or Virtual Machines.
