Senior Coordinator Human Resources (Payroll Operations)

Job Title:Senior Coordinator – Human Resources (Payroll Operations)/ Shops & Establishment Experience Mandatory - Should have handled S&E act provisions (Hands-on & not facilitation through outsourced vendor)

Location: Chennai (OMR, Kandanchavadi) – 5 Days Work from Office

Experience: 4–6 Years

Compensation: Up to 9 LPA

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Serving Notice / Up to 45 Days

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for medium to large employee populations.
• Ensure compliance with Shops & Establishments Act, labour laws, and statutory regulations.
• Handle payroll governance, compliance reporting, and internal/external audits.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors and manage payroll-related HR operations.
• Drive process automation, digitisation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Support payroll controls, audits, and compliance activities.

Required Profile

• 4–6 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, Shared Services, GCC, SSC, or KPO environments.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll audits, and labour regulations.
• Experience with payroll systems, HRMS platforms, and vendor management.
• Proven ability to improve processes through automation and digitisation.
• MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution preferred.

Preferred Background

Candidates from GCCs, Captives, SSCs, KPOs, or Payroll Service Provider organisations.
