About this role
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple US property-holding LLCs and management entities.
- Manage accounting for approximately 60 single-family homes, 14–15 commercial properties and 75+ tenants.
- Work with multiple LLCs and maintain accurate property-level financial records.
- Perform and review bank reconciliations, financial statements, cash-flow reporting and expense coding.
- Handle approximately 1,600 expense/accounting codes per month with strong attention to detail.
- Perform and review CAM reconciliations and property-related financial activities.
- Work across PropertyWare and QuickBooks environments.
- Coordinate accounting across property-holding entities, management companies and vacation-rental entities.
- Provide meaningful financial analysis and insights to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, security and reporting.
- Assist with personal financial accounting and balance-sheet/bill management where required.
- Review existing processes and recommend improvements rather than simply following legacy procedures.
- Coordinate with the Account Manager and escalate critical matters to senior management.
- Initially operate without payment authority; scope may expand to cash management and payment controls based on performance and client confidence.
