- Diagnose and manage adult patients with:
- Acute myeloid and lymphoblastic leukaemias
- Lymphomas
- Multiple myeloma and plasma-cell disorders
- Myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative neoplasms
- Aplastic anaemia and bone-marrow failure syndromes
- Other maligt and complex haematological disorders
- Provide comprehensive inpatientoutpatientday-care and emergency haemato-oncology services.
- Perform and/or supervise bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsylumbar puncture and intrathecal chemotherapy where appropriate.
- Interpret and integrate peripheral bloodbone marrowflow cytometrycytogenetic and molecular diagnostic findings.
- Provide specialist transfusion and supportive-care guidance in collaboration with Transfusion Medicine.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards and disease-specific clinical meeting
