Job Summary Responsibilities

• Role Summary: Responsible for performing security assessments of web applications and APIs, identifying vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 API Security Top 10), and providing remediation recommendations.
• Experience in web and API penetration testing
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and HTTP/HTTPS
• Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, nmap, and Postman
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10 and beyond
• Conduct penetration testing on web applications and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Identify vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10 risks (e.g., XSS, SQL Injection, IDOR, authentication flaws)
• Perform security assessments using automated tools and manual techniques
• Analyze application logic for business logic flaws and authorization issues
• Document findings with proof-of-concepts and remediation guidance
• Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes
• Prepare clear and concise security assessment reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science
• Bachelor of Computer Applications
• Master of Computer Applications

Experience

• Cybersecurity (5+ years)
