Job Description Senior Consultant (Talent Development)

Qualification & Experience

• Postgraduate degree in Sports Management, Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or an equivalent management discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in sports talent identification and development programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of Talent Identification (TID) assessment camps, trials, and protocols.
• Coordinate with coaches, Khelo India teams, National Sports Federations (NSFs), and other stakeholders.
• Monitor athlete onboarding, performance, development, and training compliance.
• Develop and update sport-specific curricula, SOPs, monitoring reports, and athlete development plans.
• Support the integration of sports science, analytics, and athlete management systems into talent development programs.
• Monitor Khelo India training facilities and coordinate athlete and coach education initiatives.
• Conduct research on sports development best practices and prepare reports, presentations, and concept notes.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of India's sports talent identification and development ecosystem.
• Knowledge of sports science, analytics, and athlete monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Government, PSUs, or autonomous bodies.
• Sports analytics certification or sport-specific coaching qualification.
