Senior Consultant - SAP

Job Description

Bristlecone India Limited seeks an experienced Senior Consultant to join our SAP Planning – Delivery department. The role focuses on providing high‑quality technical support for SAP IBP Supply Planning, configuring planning areas, managing key figures and master data, and ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments. You will collaborate with functional teams and clients to troubleshoot complex issues, implement enhancements, and uphold best‑practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier‑2/3 technical support for SAP IBP Supply Planning applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, data, and integration issues.
• Configure planning areas, key figures, and master data objects.
• Maintain and optimize integration flows between IBP and SAP S/4HANA/ECC.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and deliver detailed incident reports.
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfers for junior team members.
• Participate in on‑site and remote client engagements as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SAP IBP Supply Planning implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in planning area configuration, key figures, and master data management.
• Hands‑on experience integrating IBP with SAP S/4HANA or ECC (IDoc, OData, APIs).
• Proficiency in ABAP, SAP HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Solid understanding of supply chain concepts and demand‑supply balancing.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with a customer‑centric approach.
• Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP IBP Supply Planning, SAP S/4HANA).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global delivery team.
