Senior Consultant - Open WRT

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded software components for broadband gateways, Wi-Fi devices, and mesh extender platforms.
• Implement and integrate networking features including DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing, firewall, VLAN, QoS, multicast, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Support Wi-Fi and EasyMesh functionality, including onboarding, mesh topology management, client steering, and roaming.
• Develop device-side integrations for provisioning, telemetry, diagnostics, remote management, and cloud-to-device communication.
• Investigate complex platform defects using logs, packet captures, debugging utilities, and Linux diagnostic tools while supporting release and production issues.

Skills Required:

• 3 to 6 years of relevant software development experience in broadband CPE, embedded systems, Wi-Fi, or networking products.
• Strong programming experience in C and C++ for embedded broadband or networking products.
• Hands-on development experience with Embedded Linux, OpenWrt-based platforms, or RDK-B.
• Experience developing software for broadband CPE, Wi-Fi gateways, mesh extenders, or embedded networking devices.
• Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, home networking, embedded networking stacks, and device integration.

Good to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD practices, build validation, and integration automation.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline.
