Senior Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, electronic, and control-system faults at customer sites.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on commercial refrigeration and freezer equipment.
• Install, commission, test, dismantle, relocate, reinstall, and recommission systems when required.
• Detect and repair refrigerant leaks; recover, evacuate, pressure-test, and recharge refrigerants in accordance with safe industry practice and applicable requirements.
• Replace compressors, condensing units, evaporators, fan motors, controls, valves, driers, electrical components, and other major system parts.
• Carry out copper-pipe brazing, piping modifications, nitrogen pressure testing, vacuum procedures, and commissioning checks.
• Inspect control panels, calibrate controllers and thermostats, verify defrost operation, and confirm operating temperatures and pressures. Prepare detailed service reports and parts recommendations; communicate repair scope, risks, and recommendations to customers professionally

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with a dedicated commercial refrigeration maintenance and field-service company .
• Experience with restaurants, hotels, central kitchens, supermarkets, or food-service facilities.
• Manufacturer training or recognized refrigeration certifications.
• A valid driving licence is preferred
