Senior CMDB Specialist

Role Description

• Lead data migration activities from

BMC Helix CMDB to ServiceNow CMDB .

• Perform

data mapping, normalization and reconciliation across source and target systems.

• Design and enforce

CI class models, relationships and dependency mappings aligned with ServiceNow CMDB best practices.

• Execute

data quality checks , de-duplication, and remediation strategies.

• Ensure accurate population of

configuration items (CIs) , relationships, and attributes.

• Configure and manage

MID Servers to support on‑prem and hybrid integrations.

• Implement

Import Sets and Transform Maps for data migration and ongoing integrations.

• Design and implement integrations using

REST/SOAP APIs, Scripted REST APIs and webhooks .

• Work with integration platforms such as

MuleSoft, Jitterbit or equivalent .

• Implement and manage authentication mechanisms including

OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth and token-based authentication .

• Integrate ServiceNow with

Active Directory, monitoring tools, identity systems and remaining BMC Helix components as needed.

• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of all integrations.
