Role Description The Senior Client Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for managing and growing key client accounts in the CPA and accounting firm segment. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of offshore staffing and accounting services. The Senior Client Relationship Manager will oversee onboarding, manage service expectations, handle escalations, and conduct regular review meetings to monitor satisfaction and performance. Day-to-day activities include building long-term relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, preparing client reports and performance dashboards, and contributing feedback to improve processes and service offerings. The role also includes collaborating with sales, operations, and leadership to support client retention, drive revenue growth, and strengthen Globooks’ position as a trusted partner.
Qualifications
- Strong client management and relationship-building skills, with experience handling multiple stakeholders and key accounts.
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance services (e.g., bookkeeping, tax compliance, audit support, virtual CFO functions) and the needs of CPA or accounting firms.
- Proficiency in communication, presentation, and negotiation, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and professionally.
- Experience in project coordination or service delivery management, including tracking performance, managing timelines, and resolving issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g., MBA, CA, CPA exposure) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in offshore staffing, outsourcing, or professional services firms is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, collaboration tools, and standard office software to manage client information and reporting.
