Position: Senior Interior Fit-Out Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer specializing in interior fit-out works for commercial buildings and large-scale building projects. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in executing interior works, coordinating with contractors and consultants, interpreting interior drawings, and ensuring quality, cost control, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise complete interior fit-out works for commercial buildings, offices, hotels, and other building projects.
• Manage installation of gypsum partitions, false ceilings, wall panelling, flooring, tiling, painting, wall putty, and decorative finishes.
• Supervise modular furniture, custom joinery, doors, frames, wardrobes, and other interior installations.
• Coordinate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire-fighting, and other MEP services with interior layouts.
• Read and interpret architectural, interior design, shop, and working drawings.
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor site progress, material procurement, manpower deployment, and work schedules.
• Ensure quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and proper execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve execution issues, and ensure timely snag-list closure.
• Verify measurements, contractor bills, material consumption, and project BOQs.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and minimize material wastage.

Required Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of interior fit-out execution and building interior systems.
• Expertise in architectural drawings, BOQs, quantity estimation, and site coordination.
• Experience in contractor management, material planning, quality control, and project scheduling.
• Ability to manage multiple interior activities and meet project deadlines.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, primarily in interior fit-out projects.
• Candidates with substantial experience in commercial interiors, corporate offices, hotels, or large building projects will be preferred.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to general civil finishing works will not be preferred.
