About this role
An established brokerage firm with proprietary trading operations is hiring a senior C++ developer to build and optimise high-performance, low-latency trading applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain low-latency trading applications in Modern C++ (C++17 / C++20)
- Build and optimise market data, order management and execution systems
- Develop multithreaded, high-performance applications on Linux and exchange connectivity
- Optimise performance, reliability and scalability; troubleshoot production issues; review code
- Work alongside traders, quants and technology teams; mentor junior developers
Required skills: 5+ years of C++; strong Modern C++, data structures, algorithms, STL and OOP; Linux, multithreading, TCP/IP and socket programming; Git.
Preferred skills: algorithmic, proprietary or HFT trading experience; FIX protocol, market data feeds and low-latency design; Boost, IPC, shared memory and Python.
