Role & responsibilities

We are hiring Senior Buyer with Exp in Buying and Sourcing etc in Carbon Steel Pipes ,valves Fitting and Flanges for a leading Industrial Piping material and Flow Control Solution Co. Hyderabad Location.

Qualification - B.E / B.TECH / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering

Experience - 7 -10 years in

• Core product knowledge of welded carbon steel pipes in the Oil & Gas, EPC, or manufacturing industry.(Mandatory)

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of carbon steel pipe specifications, grades, ASTM/API standards, and manufacturing processes. (Mandatory)
• Understanding of international sourcing and import/export procedures. (Mandatory)
• Strong cost analysis and evaluation skills, including managing RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
• Established relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers, with the ability to identify alternative suppliers and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Experience sourcing carbon steel pipes from global manufacturers, with knowledge of market trends and current pricing.
• Strong negotiation skills for pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. (Mandatory)

Experience obtaining techno-commercial offers from vendors and handling procurement for Europe/Middle East projects. (Mandatory)
