Role Overview:

The Senior Business Manager will serve as a key leader in our Pune operations, responsible for driving the overall business performance, operational excellence, and market growth. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end P&L for the region, managing cross-functional teams including sales, design, and project execution, and ensuring that customer experience remains at the forefront of our service delivery. You will work closely with regional leadership to refine business strategies, optimize sales funnels, and ensure that our retail and interior design offerings meet the evolving needs of our urban clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the regional P&L to ensure sustainable revenue growth and profitability through effective cost management and resource allocation.

- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market share and strengthen the brand presence within the Pune interior design segment.

- Oversee daily business operations, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, design, and installation teams to maintain high project delivery standards.

- Drive retail sales performance by mentoring sales managers and implementing data-backed strategies to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to pivot business strategies, ensuring the company remains agile and responsive to local demand.

- Foster a culture of accountability and high performance across the regional team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service quality benchmarks.

- Manage stakeholder relationships, including vendors and partners, to ensure supply chain efficiency and consistent material quality.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing full-cycle P&L responsibilities with a strong focus on business strategy and operational efficiency.

- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment, with a focus on sales leadership and retail operations.

- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret business data, identify growth bottlenecks, and implement actionable solutions.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-departmental collaboration.

- A minimum of 4 to 11 years of professional experience in general management, business operations, or strategy roles, preferably within the retail, home decor, or consumer-facing industries.

- An educational background from a premier institute is highly preferred, reflecting strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site work environment, maintaining composure and strategic focus during high-pressure periods.
