With 16 fully automatic high-speed machines, Fortcaps has an annual production capacity of over 6 billion capsules. An Automated Defect Identification System at the end of each production line helps ensure near zero-defect output. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Business Development Executive based in Bengaluru. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in domestic and international markets, with a focus on building and expanding the customer base in the pharmaceutical sector. Daily responsibilities include lead generation, qualifying prospects, conducting client meetings and presentations, and managing the sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets. The Senior Business Development Executive will develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, negotiate commercial terms, and collaborate with internal teams such as production, quality, and logistics to ensure smooth order execution. The role also requires market research, competitor analysis, and regular reporting on business development activities and outcomes.
Qualifications

• Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with a proven ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Solid business acumen and understanding of B2B sales, preferably within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or manufacturing.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to conduct professional presentations and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Experience in account management, client relationship building, and retention strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in business development or sales, ideally at a senior or lead level.
• Ability to work on-site, travel as required, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and data-driven reporting; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
