Senior Business Development Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Generate leads through referrals, networking, cold calling, digital leads, and other sources.
• Meet prospective customers to understand their financial goals and insurance requirements.
• Explain life insurance products, benefits, policy features, premiums, and terms clearly.
• Recommend suitable insurance plans based on customer needs and eligibility.
• Convert leads into new policy sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Follow up regularly with customers and manage the sales pipeline.
• Assist customers with the application and documentation process.
• Ensure accurate completion of KYC and other required documentation.
• Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Follow company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sales practices.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals.

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and financial products is an advantage.
