Senior Business Analyst

Job Purpose

To provide PMO governance and operational coordination for the IT Compliance and ServiceNow GRC/IRM vertical by enabling structured planning, accurate reporting, risk and issue visibility, timely stakeholder follow-up, audit readiness, and closure of compliance actions and platform initiatives.

Duties And Responsibilities

Own and maintain the integrated PMO plan for IT Compliance and ServiceNow GRC/IRM initiatives, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions and action items.

• Prepare weekly and monthly governance dashboards, MIS, management presentations and executive summaries covering project status, compliance posture, control performance, audit observations, remediation progress and overdue actions.
• Coordinate governance forums with IT Compliance, risk, audit, information security, ServiceNow platform, business and technology teams; prepare agendas and minutes and track decisions and actions to closure.
• Monitor policy, control, risk, issue, exception, evidence and remediation records in ServiceNow GRC/IRM and follow up with accountable owners to maintain completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
• Support internal audits, external audits, regulatory reviews and control assessments by coordinating evidence requests, validating submission status and maintaining audit-ready documentation and traceability.
• Track ServiceNow GRC enhancements, defects, change requests, UAT, releases and production issues; coordinate priorities, dependencies and closure with functional, technical and support teams.
• Identify schedule slippages, recurring gaps, data-quality concerns and unresolved dependencies; escalate them through the defined governance mechanism with clear impact and required decisions.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of PMO and compliance processes, trackers, reports, dashboards and workflow automation while ensuring adherence to change and governance requirements.
  
  

Key Decisions / Dimensions

Determine the appropriate governance tracker, reporting format, review cadence and escalation route within approved PMO standards.

• Validate the completeness and consistency of status updates, evidence references, action plans and management reports before circulation.
• Prioritize follow-ups based on compliance impact, audit commitment, risk severity, ageing, dependency and target date.
• Recommend process, dashboard and workflow improvements to strengthen visibility, control and operational efficiency.
• Escalate material delays, control gaps, audit risks, data-quality concerns and unresolved cross-functional dependencies to the relevant lead.
  
  

Major Challenges

Consolidating accurate and timely information from multiple stakeholders, systems and compliance workstreams for management reporting.

• Maintaining alignment between business compliance requirements, ServiceNow GRC workflows, audit commitments and technology delivery timelines.
• Driving closure of overdue actions and remediation items where ownership, evidence, dependencies or priorities span multiple functions.
• Ensuring data quality, traceability and audit readiness across policies, controls, risks, issues, exceptions and remediation records.
• Balancing recurring governance activities with enhancement delivery, UAT, release coordination and production issue follow-up.
  
  

Required Qualifications And Experience

Educational Qualifications Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent. PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, ISO 27001, CISA, CRISC or ServiceNow GRC/IRM certification will be an added advantage.

Experience 4-7 years of relevant experience in PMO, IT compliance, IT governance, risk management, audit coordination or ServiceNow GRC/IRM. Experience in a regulated enterprise environment will be preferred.

Core Functional / Technical Skills PMO governance, project and action tracking, risk and issue management, audit and evidence coordination, control and remediation tracking, ServiceNow GRC/IRM concepts, dashboards and MIS, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and working knowledge of reporting and data analysis.

Additional Skills Understanding of ITGC, policy and compliance management, control testing, issue and exception management, third-party risk, regulatory compliance, UAT, release/change coordination and ServiceNow reports and dashboards. Basic knowledge of Power BI, Visio or automation tools will be an added advantage.
