Senior Business Analyst

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis and documentation.
• Strong BRD, FRD, user story, acceptance criteria and process-mapping skills.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into clear technology requirements.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, databases and basic software architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Travel industry experience across OTA, TMC, B2B travel, airline, hotel or transfer platforms is a strong plus.
• Understanding of GDS, NDC, airline/hotel APIs, booking, ticketing and post-booking is a plus.
• Exposure to Postman, JSON/XML, SQL or data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points and process gaps.
• Gather, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and use cases.
• Translate business requirements into clear requirements for Engineering and QA teams.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze existing workflows and identify product and process improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate requirements across internal teams, technology partners and suppliers.
• Support solution design, UAT planning, test scenarios and business validation.
• Manage requirement traceability, scope changes, dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Support production issues through business impact analysis and coordinated resolution.
• Drive clarity and alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
