Our R&D vision focuses on developing a Nutrition Intelligence Engine and Dark Factory for Food to enable data-driven nutrition personalization, intelligent food production, and scalable wellness solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Business Strategy & Analysis: Analyse business models, market opportunities, customer segments, competitors, and growth strategies to strengthen Kefilo s market positioning and scalability.

• Unit Economics & Financial Analysis: Evaluate product and program profitability, raw material costs, kitchen operations, pricing, customer acquisition costs, margins, and revenue performance to support data-driven decisions.

• Business Intelligence & Dashboards: Develop KPI dashboards and reporting systems to track sales, customer acquisition, retention, operational efficiency, inventory, procurement, and overall business performance.

• NutritionTech & R&D Analysis: Work with the product and R&D teams to analyse requirements for the Nutrition Intelligence Engine, personalised nutrition programs, and the Dark Factory for Food model.

• Process Optimisation: Identify operational gaps, map business workflows, establish measurable performance indicators, and recommend improvements across procurement, production, distribution, and customer transformation programs.

• Market Research & Product-Market Fit: Conduct customer research, analyse feedback, evaluate demand, and identify opportunities to improve product-market fit, customer experience, and revenue generation.

• Business Planning & Reporting: Prepare business requirement documents, feasibility studies, strategic reports, growth projections, and investor-ready business insights to support expansion and funding discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, business intelligence, strategy, consulting, finance, or operations.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau; SQL and financial modelling skills are an advantage.

• Ability to translate complex business data into actionable recommendations.

• Understanding of unit economics, business KPIs, process mapping, and performance measurement.

• Experience in startups, food technology, NutritionTech, healthtech, FMCG, or consumer businesses is preferred.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary founding team.

Equity & Engagement Structure

• Compensation: Equity-based only at the current stage; no fixed salary.

• Equity allocation: To be discussed based on expertise, responsibilities, contribution, and long-term commitment.

• Vesting: Proposed 5-year vesting structure for core founding team members, subject to the final agreement.

• Future compensation: Fixed compensation may be introduced after funding and revenue stabilisation.

• Commitment: A long-term contribution to building Kefilo s business, analytical systems, and scalable operating model is expected.
