Senior BIM Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Engineer - Scan to BIM with 5-9 years of relevant experience to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Scan-to-BIM workflows, Revit modeling, and multidisciplinary BIM coordination across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines. The role involves developing accurate BIM models from point cloud data, preparing construction documentation, performing quality checks, and supporting the Team Lead in project execution.

The candidate should demonstrate effective communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to guide junior engineers and trainees while ensuring project quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop coordinated BIM models for Architectural, Structural, and MEP services using point cloud data and Design drawings.
• Create BIM models at various Levels of Detail (LOD) as required.
• Prepare construction/shop drawings and schedules based on client requirements, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Develop As-Built BIM models using site survey drawings, point clouds, or marked-up drawings with as-built comments.
• Work collaboratively within a team of modelers and detailers.
• Perform clash detection and generate clash reports.
• Assist the Team Lead with project-related tasks as required.

Skills and Requirements

• BTech / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-9 years of relevant experience in Scan-to-BIM projects, with hands-on expertise in point cloud-based modeling and multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Strong understanding of Scan-to-BIM workflows and point cloud-based modeling.
• Experience in preparing construction drawings, shop drawings, schedules, and As-Built BIM models.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support the Team Lead.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts based on project requirements.
