Senior Backend Platform Engineer - AI Agent

We are hiring a Senior Backend Platform Engineer to build the platform's core services: tenant management, secure APIs, workflow services, and output composition into banker-ready artifacts with traceability.

Responsibilities:

• Build multi-tenant APIs with versioning, backward compatibility, and policy enforcement.
• Engineer reliability: idempotency, retries/backoff, circuit breakers, backpressure, safe degradation.
• Build output services to generate regulated-ready artifacts (reports/briefs/decks) with provenance and approval workflows.
• Implement audit trails: immutable event logs and request traces suitable for enterprise controls.
• Production ownership: monitoring, runbooks, incident participation, release readiness gates.

Capabilities spanning:

• Platform APIs and Control Plane (tenant configuration, quotas, policy enforcement, audit logging).
• Workflow Services (execution APIs, long-running jobs, retry/idempotency patterns).
• Experience and Output Composition (chat/JSON plus briefs/reports/decks with citations and approvals).
• Identity, authorization, and governance hooks (RBAC propagation across tools/data/retrieval).

Requirements:

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience (Go/Java/Kotlin/TypeScript/Python acceptable).
• Proven experience building multi-tenant services or platform APIs used by multiple consumers.
• Strong security and governance mindset (authz, audit, least privilege).
• Demonstrable operational ownership (on-call, incident response, postmortems).
