Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The role requires strong problem-solving capability, and expertise in software engineering. As a Senior C# .NET Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Microsoft .NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using .NET / C#
• Build and maintain scalable REST APIs and Web APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause analysis
• Collaborate with product owners, and other developers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver robust software solutions
• Improve application performance, reliability, observability, and scalability
• Document technical designs, APIs, and engineering decisions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them in their professional growth Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in .NET development and Github practices

What You'll Bring to Numerator

• Proven experience as a C# .NET Developer with over 5 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft .NET framework, including C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
• Solid understanding of REST principles and API design
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures and serverless computing
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including data encryption, identity management, and access controls

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js is nice to have
• Experience with Terraform
