Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Kotlin to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, cloud-native backend services. The ideal candidate will have experience in distributed systems, microservices architecture, production support, and technical problem-solving.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Kotlin backend development.
• Experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Flux CD or Argo CD.
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience in production troubleshooting, incident management, and on-call support.
• Strong system design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
• Make technical decisions that support system reliability and long-term maintainability.
• Monitor application performance and improve system stability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and resolve production incidents.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Identify technical risks and continuously improve engineering practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with Rust, Python, Quarkus, or Axum.
• Knowledge of Flux CD, Argo CD, and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with Kanban, delivery flow metrics, and architecture reviews.
• Familiarity with security scanning and performance testing.

Experience Required: 5+ years
Important: Kotlin backend development and willingness to participate in on-call support are essential for this role.
