Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain billing ledgers using PostgreSQL.
• Manage subscriptions, renewals, upgrades, and cancellations.
• Handle refunds, disputes, and payment reconciliation.
• Build financial reports for taxes and revenue.
• Develop billing and checkout interfaces using TypeScript and React.
• Migrate legacy billing systems safely.

Requirements

• Backend engineering experience with Go and SQL.
• Experience building payment and subscription systems.
• Strong knowledge of ledgers, webhooks, and reconciliation.
• Understanding of GST, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Strong SQL skills for investigating payment issues.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and React.
