Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems that power our next-generation platform. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Architect distributed systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs, asynchronous workflows, and event-driven architectures.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production applications on AWS.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications.
• Design efficient PostgreSQL schemas and optimize complex database queries.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end product features.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system performance.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making. Technical Requirements
• 4–8 years of experience building and operating production-grade backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in

Python (FastAPI/Django) and/or

Node.js (Express/NestJS) .

• Excellent understanding of

High-Level Design (HLD) and

Low-Level Design (LLD) with experience designing scalable distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including

EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC .

• Experience deploying and managing applications using

Docker and

Kubernetes .

• Strong expertise in

PostgreSQL , including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and transactions.

• Experience building REST APIs, asynchronous processing, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines ,

Terraform/CDK , and Git-based development workflows.

• Working knowledge of

React and modern frontend development.

• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting skills. Nice-to-Have
• Experience with

Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms.

• Familiarity with

ClickHouse ,

BigQuery , or other analytical databases.

• Understanding of

MLOps , model deployment, inference pipelines, and AI-powered applications.

• Experience building

multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
