Job Title: Backend AI Developer / AI Backend Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Backend AI Developer with strong experience in backend application development and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable APIs, integrating AI/LLM-based applications, and following engineering best practices for testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Build and deploy AI-powered applications, including AI agents, LLM integrations, RAG-based solutions, and workflow automation.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration between applications, AI services, and third-party platforms.
• Design, optimize, and manage databases using PostgreSQL and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product managers, and frontend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Implement robust authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and security best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering standards.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery through automated testing.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience developing and deploying AI Agents, LLM-powered applications, or Generative AI solutions.
• Proficiency in REST API development and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL database design and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and scalable architectures.
• Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and implementing quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
