Revmind Labs AI is looking to fill the role of a Senior Backend Developer - AI & Analytics Products. The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and continuously refining enterprise-grade analytics products and applications leveraging cloud platforms, especially AWS. This role involves leading backend development for advanced analytics product initiatives, ensuring delivery of robust cloud-based products, and driving innovation to support Revmind's advanced analytics and AI needs.

Primary Job Function The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and continuously refining enterprise-grade backend systems, APIs, data services, and cloud-connected applications. The role will support Revmind's advanced analytics, AI, data science, and enterprise product development needs by building scalable backend services, secure API layers, reliable data integrations, serverless workflows, and production-grade cloud services.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python, SQL, and cloud-native technologies.
• Develop and deploy backend services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Cognito, and other AWS services.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Integrate third-party APIs and manage authentication/authorization, such as Cognito and OAuth.
• Design and maintain data models, database queries, backend workflows, and data access layers.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, reliability, and security of backend applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, product managers, data scientists, AI engineers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented backend code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using AWS tools such as CloudWatch and X-Ray.
• Support AI/analytics product workflows by building backend services that connect applications, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Help convert prototypes and demos into robust, production-grade backend systems.

Position Accountability / Scope The Senior Backend Developer is accountable for delivering targeted business impact per initiative in collaboration with key stakeholders. This role involves significant responsibility for the development and management of Revmind's strategic AI / Advanced Analytics products and applications, enabling faster, better, and more informed decision-making within the business.

Minimum Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Minimum Experience

• At least 4+ years of experience as a Python Developer, Backend Developer, Analytics Developer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Experience with building and deploying backend services on cloud platforms.
• DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Cognito, and related tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as AWS CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, data models, authentication, authorization, and API design.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to build scalable, secure, maintainable, and production-grade backend systems.
• Ability to collaborate with frontend, DevOps, AI, data, design, and product teams.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience in building machine learning algorithms and GenAI applications.
• Experience with containerization, such as Docker, ECS, or EKS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Experience with version control systems such as CodeCommit or similar tools.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and services such as AWS Lambda.
• Understanding of security best practices and implementation in cloud environments.
• Exposure to AI/LLM workflows, data pipelines, analytics products, or enterprise dashboard platforms.
