Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong AI skills to design and build scalable data and AI solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, Python and Azure AI Foundry, along with the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks and Python
• Azure Data Engineering – ADF, Azure SQL DB, Databricks Apps and Medallion Architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry
• Experience designing, developing and deploying AI applications and AI agents
• Strong understanding of LLMs and Prompt Engineering
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub

Nice to Have

• Databricks Mosaic AI
• Exposure to latest Databricks and Generative/Agentic AI capabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, end-to-end data engineering and AI solutions.
• Develop data pipelines and platforms using Azure Databricks, Python and related Azure services.
• Build and deploy AI applications and agents using Azure AI Foundry.
• Translate business requirements and data strategy into effective technical solutions.
• Act as an SME and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders and present solution designs and recommendations.
• Drive engineering best practices, implementation efficiency and reusable solutions.
• Contribute to CoE and Community of Practice (CoP) initiatives.
