Senior Automation Engineering Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation & AI Engineering Specialist with deep expertise in enterprise automation, AI/RAG solutions, D365/Oracle/SAP systems, Power BI analytics, cloud engineering, and DevOps-driven CI/CD. The ideal candidate will modernize automation platforms, build scalable AI-enabled solutions, and support complex business-application landscapes across Finance and Supply Chain domains.

This role requires hands-on engineering excellence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business, QA, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

AI, RAG & Conversational Automation

• Design and build AI-powered enterprise agents using RAG, LLMs, and workflow automation.
• Develop conversational interfaces integrating Slack, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise systems.
• Deliver grounded AI responses by correlating defects, engineering discussions, and business-process knowledge.

Enterprise Test Automation & Framework Modernization

• Architect and modernize automation frameworks using Python, Playwright.
• Lead migrations from legacy automation tools to scalable, maintainable frameworks.
• Expand regression coverage across ERP, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce, Mainframe, and third-party applications.

ERP & Business Process Automation

• Automate business processes across S2P, SCM, OTC and R2R processes .
• Support business migrations, and cross-system workflow automation.

Data Engineering, BI & Analytics

• Build Power BI dashboards, data models, and automated refresh pipelines.
• Integrate APIs, AWS Lambda and EventBridge into scalable data ingestion workflows.
• Deliver executive-facing analytics supporting forecasting, operational insights, and decision-making.

Cloud Engineering & DevOps

• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CloudBees CI, Azure DevOps, Git, and CasC.
• Implement cloud-native automation using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and event-driven architectures.
• Manage distributed execution environments for large-scale regression automation.

Agile Delivery, Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

• Lead technical POCs, defect triage, and automation strategy discussions.
• Collaborate with business, QA, and engineering teams to drive automation adoption.

Required Qualifications

• 10-13+ years of experience in enterprise automation, ERP testing, and AI-driven engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Playwright and other automation tools.
• Deep functional knowledge of Finance modules .
• Experience building RAG/LLM-based enterprise agents and AI automation workflows.
• Expertise in Power BI, data modeling, SQL, and cloud-based data ingestion.
• Strong DevOps experience with Jenkins, CloudBees CI, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to lead modernization initiatives, mentor teams, and collaborate with global stakeholders.
• MS in Data Science or equivalent technical degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (NeoLoad, LoadRunner).
• Experience with Salesforce, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and CRM automation.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and distributed data systems.
• Certifications in TOSCA, NVIDIA DLI, or AI engineering.
